Across the world we face escalating environmental and social crises, with local communities bearing the brunt. Our current solutions are insufficient. Real change demands a fundamental paradigm shift in how we live, work, and care for each other and the planet.

Imagine the love child of Coalition of Everyone x Regen Places Network and you almost have it - Bioregional Institute is a living entity transforming and evolving our systems from the bottom up.

One of our inspiring Regen Places Network leaders, Stina Kerans recently shared an idea that time should be our lead. For many years we’ve been learning how to move at the speed of trust. And for many, many years before that, since the Earth settled into its most recent form around 400 million years ago, our planet mapped herself and the living entities that make up the living beings of our lands and waterways as bioregions. Bioregioning is a growing global movement to repattern our world with Earths laws.

We youngling humans on the other hand draw sharp lines, unnatural boundaries and divisions against these bio-flows and patterns, breaking balance with the natural laws of the living world. For our shared futures, for the future of our species, it is now beyond time to shift, transform and evolve outmoded human-made systems and repattern how we live, be and do together with the living world.

So. Time.
Sometimes its slow time, sometimes its a quickening time.

Nothing is original, but how we do it can be.

It is summer here in the Southern Hemisphere and with that bountiful energy, it is time to share what has been a slow idea as a new entity brewing for a some time .

We will pair you with regen leaders, convenors and projects in the Regen Places Network to deliver Nature Positive regenerative place-sourced action, to help you achieve your sustainability goals in Regen Places across Oceania and further.

Together we will co-create Bioregional Learning Centre's through the community-led Story of Place process. So far we have activated twelve Story of Place programs across Australia, nested around nine unique anchor projects.

You will also gain access to the Open Wisdom Library (OWL), now in development.

We begin in 2025.
