In the end it begins with Story; Story of Self, Story of Place, Story of Australia. And a new story for the Earth.

🔦 While our world is facing cascading crises from climate, biodiversity loss, inequality, social & political upheaval and more, amidst these challenges, a community-led response for regeneration at the bioregional scale is rising. This week Regen Places Network held a profoundly different session to regenerate the Naarm / Melbourne Basin which included 20 regenerative practitioners, creatives, ecologists, architects, social entrepreneurs, regen tourism leaders, academics and living systems thinkers and doers who came together for a nodal and foundational intervention to activate the Story of Place here (where I happen to also live). We started our storying process by starting with Story of Self (SoS - surely there's no coincidence in the acronym!). The work we are activating in a field of endeavour being in right relationship, starts within us, within our mindsets (or mindscapes - thank you for the new term Dr Ethan Gordon 👩‍🌾) and our world views at a quantum level. Tending to our stories of self first allows us begin to delve into the inner work for the benefit of deeper healing and regeneration across the three lines of work (self, team/community, the greater whole).

Our journey together into this process has just begun, more updates and invitations to join us soon 🙌
