Still processing the richness and depth being at the incredible Woodleigh Institute #ReimaginED2024 conference over the past couple of days, my gratitude goes out to my dear friend Dr Richard Owens FRSA and his colleagues for bringing together such a remarkable offering 🤩

It is not everyday one gets to spend hanging out with 250+ local and global educators at the beautiful Woodleigh School reimagining education - actually it was more than simply reimagining, it felt very much like RemakED (tehe Richard @2025?)...💡

I felt moved by the quality of the collective energy and intentions that connected and were guided through such a diverse and considered curation of ideas and on the ground action happening already to #RegenerateEducation.

From the smoking and welcome ceremony by Uncle Lionel sharing how we can be 'working with Nature instead of against it', other highlights included opening with a student provocation from Danny Adams-Heitz, a rad keynote by Mette Miriam Rakel Böll from the @Centre for Systems Awareness & MIT Systems Awareness Lab, listening to the inimitable Daniel Christian Wahl zooming in from Majorca, to the stunning music of multiple musicians, particularly being with and learning about the artwork from the beautiful Kankawa Nagarra, hearing her hopes for hashtag#Australia, AND listening to her sing 😍 while also meeting the inspiring Heather Lawrence, to the catering and breakout sessions (too many, wanting to be in multiple places at once to experience them all), to Michael Fullan speaking about turning the system upside-down; 'we have one chance; well-being without learning is impossible to sustain, and learning without well-being depletes the spirit' & 'top down change doesn't work, bottom up does'. There was so much more. But here's to that.

Bravo all, and thank you for having us 😊🙏
